Africa Lounge is a decent airport restaurant with reasonable prices. The service is kind and simple, creating a relaxing space away from the busy airport environment. The atmosphere is non-pressuring, and the food is decent, if not exceptional. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including Mac&Jack's African-themed beers, fries, wings, and a salmon plate with jollof rice, fried plantains, and spicy tangy sauce. Some dishes, like the jollof rice, may not feel completely authentic, but the food arrives quickly and staff are accommodating. The spicy beef sambusas are highly recommended, and the sweet Thai chilli sauce pairs well with chicken. Joanna, the staff member, was very friendly and helped ensure customers could enjoy breakfast before switching to lunch, making the experience even better. Sammy, the bartender, is efficient and polite, keeping the busy place running smoothly. Overall, Africa Lounge is a good option for airport dining, especially for those looking for a relaxed meal, but it may not be worth going out of the way for.
