Paid $17 for a little brioche breakfast sandwich that was plain and looked/tasted like it was microwaved. Also tried the iced chai latte, not as bad but mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and skip this.
Typical airport restaurant with typical airport food. Don't expect too much. Prices are high as usual, quality low.
How can you not have a sun shade for that end of day sun? Makes the entire experience much less enjoyable.
Capitol Hill Food Hall - A Gates offers a decent dining experience with a range of options. The buffalo chicken sandwich and fries are standouts, while the BBQ chicken pizza is also a highlight. Prices are reasonable for an airport location. The natural light and quieter corner make up for the sometimes dirty and disorganized atmosphere.
The clam chowder bowl and Korean BBQ sandwich are okay, but the clam chowder does not seem to be freshly made. The fries could use some salt. However, the bar service is amazing, with the staff being helpful and going above and beyond.
The food court is big, open, and spacious, with many seating options including regular tables, tall tables, and bar seating. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide a view of the planes. The menu ranges from typical snacks to prepared restaurant-style foods, such as pizza, chowder, burgers, and coffee shop options. For those who do not have lounge access, it is a pretty decent option to relax. The food options are not bad, but the selection is limited for vegetarians and vegans. The prices are high, but expected for an airport food court. The staff, such as the waitress Marjorie, provide great service with a smile. The venue is clean and attractive, with plenty of seating available.
