I ordered the meat combo for lunch, which comes with vegetable sides. The waitress kindly guided me away from the medium, which would have been far too much food for one person. Even the small left me with leftovers for days! The food was super spicy and flavorful - I would definitely go again. It’s set up as a kind of a sports bar - so I bet it’s fun for dinner!
Star Coffee and Restaurant is one of my favorite spots when craving Ethiopian/Eritrean food. I order the small meat combo, which comes with beef tibs, kitfo(beef tartar), collard greens, alicha (beef)wot, key(beef) wot, salad, and doro(chicken) wot. If you get the kitfo, it even comes with traditional cheese (ayib). It’s a perfect meal for two to three people and always delicious. Everyone inside was kind and welcoming. The staff did a great job checking in on us as well. It was fun to see the people around us laughing, enjoying each other's company, and playing games.
