Solid food but you come here for the customer service and atmosphere most of all, has that classic American diner aesthetic and the waitresses were very nice! Spent about $20 bucks per person but the portions were big so you could split.
It's an old building and a bit hard to find. I had to drive through an alley and another parking lot to get there. Decor is classic, never updated 60s diner. Breakfast served all day which I enjoy and after they poured my coffee they left the pot on my table which I love! The corned beef hash was tasty, they prepared the hash browns and eggs well and they used quality bread for the sourdough toast. The service was fast and courteous. Perfect breakfast experience.
After flying an early red-eye from the East Coast to Seattle, I thought I'd stop by for their traditional buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes were good and beyond filling, but the staff were overwhelmed and the service was very slow (It took 20 min to get seated on a casual Friday morning and an additional 25 min to get pancakes). Although the waitress was very friendly, I would not go back... service was too slow.
