We went here for a friend’s dinner and scheduled a reservation because we heard great things about this place. The positives are it’s a really cute restaurant, that’s nice and clean and there’s a simple elegance in the design. The service was amazing. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable and provided good insights into the dishes and how they’re prepared. We liked the different options, although the menu was very simple with three main courses or entrées....
The food got better as the meal progressed and the last few dishes were very good but the service really hurt the overall meal. We were welcomed briefly when we are arrived but then not again until they asked what we wanted to eat. When we selected the tasting menu and wine pairing we assume we would be told about the food and wine but it was dropped in front of us and were told they went well together. would recommend for the food but overall experience wasn't great especially...
An amazing special Truffles & Caviar dinner at 84 Yesler. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The wine pairings, including a sake, went very well with each dish. The service was attentive and friendly. Only knock is that it was a bit load at first. Got better after a boisterous four-top near us left.
