The Mexican chocolate pie is a winner. Very cocoa’y with a hint of spice. Perfect with coffee on these dark winter days.

I had a pizza pocket, and quite enjoyed it.

I tried a bite of a friends fruit pie and ice cream, and it was tasty. I'd go back to try more of their sweet offerings.

Customer service was poor. The attendee did not seem personable or eager to answer questions. The pie however, "DELICIOUS".

First time there so I had to go with the classic of apple pie a la mode. I'm usually not excited by apple pie with this was a true eye opener. The juicy apples had just the right amount of crispiness. The buttery crust literally melted in your mouth. It was the perfect desert!

When you walk in it smells amazing, it's very cozy feeling, all around a great atmosphere.

The employees are super friendly and helpful, explained the options.

Now on to the pies.

All the fillings were great! But the crust on several of the pies was overworked and tough.

Although one of them had a pretty short and flaky crust which is what I wanted.

I wouldn't say they were bad, but I kinda expected better, and maybe more consistency.

All in all a good experience, and I'll return, but hopefully next time I get a flakey crust.

Cute Pie shop! Unfortunately, the pie was a bit lacking. We tried the apple pie, which was average, and the peanut butter mousse pie. The peanut butter part tasted like pb cookie dough, but the chocolate mousse half was... off - both in flavor and texture.

The desserts here are always delicious. My husband and I love them so much that we ordered their pies for our wedding, and the service was amazing. The whole process was super efficient, and the guests raved about how good the pies were!

Menu board clearly states the pie per slice price is $8. Checked my emailed receipt and was charged $9. Didn't tip either. Pay close attention to what you are charged, as they appear to be pulling a fast one on their customers - trying to hide their price increases. The pie is pretty good but it's not worth $9 a slice.

***If some slices are priced above $8, this should be displayed clearly on the menu, or somewhere else, so the customer knows this prior to paying.***

A la Mode has beautiful pies of every type and stripe... Rainbow striped cheesecake for Pride to be exact! They have savoury pie to die for... Shepherd's Pie, hand pies in flavors like spicy Moroccan eggplant, and chicken pot pies.
They have beautiful sweet pies... Tonight I had Cherry Pie a la mode for dinner (pie for dinner is a great thing on a hot day)... Delicious! The crust here is fabulous! I might have to get a Pie Shake on my next visit.
Nice people work here... Parking is not as bad as you would think just off California. Don't forget the inexpensive pay lots one block West.

This is an overdue review of the pie making cooking class. My friend and I tried it and had the BEST time- the shop owner is so charismatic and fun, and taught us so many things I never knew before, even as a seasoned baker. The pies themselves were INCREDIBLE, and overall the experience was entertaining and enjoyable. We got to taste test different pies while stuff baked- it was a dream. I would 100% do this again if I ever come back to Seattle.
