We had a wonderful time here! The bolognese was amazing and very well seasoned without being overwhelming. The customer service was also great, our server, Christa, was very kind. I have a bright red mohawk and so I looked a bit out of place, but she was still overwhelmingly kind and helped swiftly with a drink miscommunication. 10/10 would recommend!
Food was ok. Someone around us got a seafood dish and it smelled pretty fishy throughout the restaurant for awhile. I ordered the pappardelle bolognese and the dish came with rigatoni. The server didn't let me know about the change or even acknowledge it at all. It tasted bland and wasn't what I ordered. My dinner mates had the steak and they said it tasted fine. No wow factor. The space is nice though.
This place looked great from the photos, but the actual ambiance felt like an airport cafeteria to me. It is all new and the bar setting was pretty but the overhead lighting was bright and plain, not good intimate lighting for a date night. The food was pretty good, ahi poke and guacamole was great. Miso black cod was just ok. I’ve tried this particular dish at better places and it just didn’t hit. The parpadelle bolognese was missing that umami where you want to inhale it....
