Its Spuds! Good fish and chips. They have a vinegar and red pepper sauce that is my new favorite. I think I've been told them all and this location is my favorite! Its Alki after all!
Loved the deep fried cod, the fish was cooked just right and the batter did not overpower. The chips were too limp for my taste, but if you don't like crispy fries, might be exactly what you're looking for! Upstairs seating was unusable because of unbearably hot it was up there, no one up there. Parking lot tables were full of people, but not the best ambiance with cars going in and out of the lot. View across the the beach was nice, especially at sunset. I'd recommend...
Spuds is a classic no doubt. I haven't been to this location in a decade or so and it was so close to exactly how I recalled. Fish was delish and I wish the fries were a bit more crisp. Tables needed a wipe but it was a great trip back to an old favorite.
