The restaurant is inside of a hotel so when we brought our coffees in with us the waiter made a big deal about it and reprimanded the hostess in front of us instead of waiting till we left it was very tacky and unprofessional. The oysters were 3.00 that's not happy hour price you ask me.
Food was good, a little bland. Though the baked clams were excellent. We had the halibut and some sides. Good, made in a straight-forward style, not much in the way of interesting seasonings or sauces. We had a patio table but there was a large loud table of 10 that blocked the ability of the waiter to serve us, kinda ruined the vibe a little. Staff was friendly.
Oysters were great, fresh well prepared and the miniotte was delishous. The octopus/chorizo/pork belly white bean stew was chalky, tough (octopus should be tender and the chorizo was super dry). And the beans seemed a bit undergone. Maybe that is how it was supposed to be but it was a bit tough to comprehend what they were going for. Halibut ceviche was good, the plantain chips were a nice touch and the balance of flavors was good.
