I had a breakfast plate called the East Coast which is listed on the menu as toast with eggs, smoked salmon, capers, and onions. The salmon was not what I expected, like you'd get on a lox bagel, but looked more like it came from a can. I admit, it may just be me, but I was slightly disappointed.
Overall it was still tasty, but I did end up leaving a bit of the salmon on my plate when I finished.

Americana is one of my favorite brunch places in Seattle! I've been coming to Americana for 10 years and can highly recommend the American Benedict, French toast, and pancakes.

The American Benedict is unique with its potatoe cake base, poached egg, and tomato/mushroom sauce topping. The potatoes cakes are textured and the sauce/egg combo works great together. A unique and delicious take on eggs benedict!

The French toast is my favorite French toast in Seattle! Some reviewers complain of it's crunchiness, but I think that's it's greatest strength! It's meant to be dipped: after dowsing it in syrup and the fruit compote, it retains a perfect amount of crunch. I personally hate soggy French toast, and as such this makes each bite great for me!

As for the pancakes: I'm not much of a pancake person but these are great! Light and fluffy, and always topped with fresh fruit. Definitely tastes home made!

The staff have always been wonderful when we've been there. Even across the ownership changes, the food and service has remained top notch and will remain a go-to for us in Seattle. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely recommend this place and the maple glazed pork. Incredible dish and unlike most Seattle meals it's worth the price. Service is great as well. Gluten free bread available!

It was pretty good. The French toast was made very well, I just wish it had a more custard taste to it. The berries compote on top was DELICIOUS.

Asked if they could provide separate checks for 4 people, they said yes but then just did math to say what the average cost between 4 people is even though we got different things. Food was ok. Service was ok.

It was a busy Farmers Market out front (big plus) Sunday on Capitol Hill and we got seated immediately for brunch @1:30. Service was attentive, pleasant and fast. The hot chocolate was the best I’ve ever had - rich, flavorful and a nice hint of cinnamon. The french toast also 10/10 made with rustic bread and generously topped with what tasted like a compote of fresh picked blueberries, raspberries etc. Asked for a side of scrambled eggs also way above average. Recommend and will return. Thank you, Americana!

Stopped in here for brunch while visiting the Capitol Hill neighborhood and was extremely satisfied with the savoryness of our food choices. I had the special: bacon, avocado and pepper jack omelette and it was seriously so delicious. My partner had the egg and arugala sandwich and it was also pretty tasty. But the jam OMG, the jam. Best ever. And the bloody Mary also hit the spot, with a tasty pickled carrot. A 100% satisfying brunch!
I thought it was kind of funny: the music they were playing in the background, every-single-song was about whiskey or had the word whiskey in it. I was laughing, but could not convince my partner to do whiskey shots at breakfast.

WE WANTED GLO'S! Unfortunately farmers market was this weekend and there was a 2 hour wait. So we decided to walk here. Slow service, coffee cups empty/bitter, undercooked potatoes, and crunchy French toast that bore even syrup can cure. Don't try to split the bill, they charge for that too.

Very expensive---the prices on the website are outdated. This place is now about $7-10 more per item.

This BRUNCH is on fire.
The right amount of FRESH food. Farm to table ingredients! This was such a gift experience for breakfast. 100% one of the best brunches I’ve had on tour! Real maple syrup!! Chicken sausage / poached eggs!
