Quiet sunny Monday evening with only me and two others eating. The lady who took my order didn’t acknowledge me for the longest time and basically grunted when I gave her the order. She didn’t say may I take your order or thank you when done. Just stared at me until I ordered. So my first impression was not favorable. Ordered the chicken fajita sandwich with onion rings. Thankfully, the food was better than the service. Good, not great. Plenty of outside seating.
We love Americano’s fried pickles because 1) they’re chips and not spears 2) the breading they use is super crispy and sticks nicely. I also love that they include 3 crispy onion rings with your order of a club sandwich in the fry basket (not sure if this applies to other sandwiches that come w fries). It’s our favorite spot to get lunch in Interbay/Magnolia!
Update: Went to pick up my to go order and there was a small problem in the kitchen. The young man managing the counter explained the issue, offered an apology and told me exactly what they were going to do to address it. I told him I’d go listen to my audio book in the car and be back but he beat me to it and came out with the food.
