The Anchorhead near the convention center I s a favorite coffee stop of ours, so we were excited to try the newish one on Western Avenue. Some of the best coffee you’ll find in Seattle and super tasty treats, though the ground floor space they’re in feels a little cavernous and does not have the same personality as their other location. However, there’s great outdoor seating options if you’re staying here to enjoy your amazing coffee drinks.
Excellent coffee, altho I think they used to use organic sweeteners flavorings, it’s what you would get anywhere now so not as good as it used to be . If I’m getting organic coffee, I would prefer organic sweeteners.
I came in here on June 21, 2026. I was tired after an epic week in Seattle (FIFA World Cup, and other things!). The space of this establishment is welcoming and relaxing. There is indoor and some outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and efficient. Darrin is delightful! I actually met him the day before at Hoyle Hats (Seattle's best hat shop). He helped craft my Hoyle Hat. What a skilled lad: hat man, coffee man! I sat by the window slowly enjoying a sausage and egg sandwich...
