Fun spot for coffee - I liked the ambience and the service was good. Where the wheels fell off for me was the coffee. I know some people must like this, but to me it tasted green and sour - it was terrible. I’m looking for a different flavor profile. Not burnt like Starbucks, but more toasted. Not my gig.

I got to Anchorhead quite often since it is one of the only cafes around that opens at 7am. The coffee tastes good and they have some decent pastries. The downstairs area is large with a couch and several table - it’s a good place to study/work/hang out.
There are a few issues worth noting:
- the music especially downstairs is loud for a cafe so bring headphones
- the “medium” sized coffee is 10oz not 12oz and ordering an...

I love love love going here to study and their drinks are so good! My go-to is the Strawberry Matcha!! I heard that it’s not on the menu anymore, so I’m really sad about that 😭 I know a lot of people who’s go-to drink is also the Strawberry Matcha, so I hope it comes back eventually…
Also I really appreciate the student discount
