The naan is not as good as other India restaurants.. the middle of one is still raw. The noodles are too salty, and the skin of momo is too thick. But the lamb is still good. Its flavor is far worse than some other same price level place.
This is such a wonderful, sweet, family-owned restaurant. I've been eating here for more than 15 years and highly recommend it. I've hosted birthday dinners in one of the side rooms, and come to celebrate many occasions with their delicious food. I mainly used to get the Indian food, like the tandoori dishes, thaalis, and malai kofta. Of late, I've been trying more of the Nepali food, especially the samai baaji, which is completely unique, and impossible to find...
I've been coming here over the years and have to say the quality is very consistent. 8 years ago the prices seemed a little higher than average, and there were times I didn't feel it was worth the cost. However, as restaurant prices have been increasing, especially post covid, Annapurna has remained about the same prices and is now a better value.
