This is such a tourist trap. So overpriced and for all the great places to eat in Seattle this is the last place I would recommend. We ordered scallops and prime rib and both were terrible. Not sure who the chef was the evening we were there but it was beyond sub-par. Such a shame because we were looking forward to a good meal. Went in to the diner after a long day at the flower show, they couldn't make a simple strawberry daquari (no strawberries) and didn't have the ingredients for my drink either. I will admit the food was good, I had the pan seared Ling cod. But then they brought the bill. My boyfriend signed it and left a nice tip, and after the guy picked it up mentioned the cost and I asked to see the receipt. We were charged for 2 meals we didn't even have on top of ours. Anthony's Fish Bar serves great food, including delicious crab and corn soup, excellent calamari, perfectly cooked scallops, fried cod, and blackened salmon Caesar salad. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is friendly, providing good service. During oyster season, the small cocus ones are fresh and delicious. The pricky pear is a popular choice, and the halibut and Dungeness crab are also perfect. While prices may be a bit high, and service can be slow at times, the restaurant remains a recommended spot for special occasions. The staff, like Galina and Heidi, is attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and keeping drinks full. The general manager, Mike, is terrific and very informative. Despite some concerns, the exceptional customer service and delicious food make for an outstanding dining experience.
