2025 UPDATE: It's not the same anymore. The barista looks like she doesn't even want to be there. And the latte was horribly steamed. I ordered a quiche but I was sitting outside. When it was done heating up, she just left in on the counter without trying to inform me at all. What a disappointment.

2023: Cozy interior with a covered outdoor fire pit area. The staff is very friendly. My oat milk latte was more on the mild side but I still enjoy it.

One of my favorite places to park for some laptop work -- lots of seating (but only a few places to plug in), great vibe, open late!

The place was beautiful. Coffee and pastries were fantastic. One of the best shops we visited while in Seattle.

Love this place and been coming here a long time- the only thing is that the staff is sometimes great sometimes not. In terms of the coffee it’s always good, but some staff are just too unfriendly. I watched a customer ask a simple question and he just got a blunt No and awkwardly walked off, I also got ignored when I tried to ask if a drink was mine. I just wish these employees would chill out just a little bit? It’s a hit or miss at this place, most of the people there are cool.

I usually don’t write bad reviews because I know how harsh it can be to small businesses that can improve. But I had to make a specific comment about the girl in pink clothes who took my order today.

I ordered an Irish coffee, which states it contains freshly brewed coffee, whiskey, and a whipped cream. Apparantly they use a whip creamer to instantly make one. During the transition time, she was lazy.

She said they are out of whipped cream. A fat lie. 15 minutes later, the next barista used whipped cream on a drink. That’s okay. After she made the coffee? I sat on the bar and leaves it literally off the edge, mug handle facing her way, no eye contact, clanking the cup with an attitude.

I’m from an F&B industry and people like her seriously needs to be reconsidered. It also seems like she has been working there for a while too. It sucks everyone whos working with her needs to be judged because of her irresponsibilities.

I will file a complaint inquiring several reviews that are also mentioned here. I really hope they stick to the mission of bringing people together in a safe space for both employee and customers.

Other than the long opening hours, I don’t see the merit of coming here.

Went in on a Saturday and not too busy. I passed the zoo of a Starbucks and got a delicious almond milk latte and an egg/cheese sandwich. The food was okay.. a little pricey, very walkable—the place/location is great, a good place for people to work/study with cozy ish booths. I’d probably pass up on the food next time.. a good new place to add to my list of solid coffeehouses.

Really beautiful place and extremely friendly service. The outdoor seating area js also really cool. Spacious and good acoustics make for a place where one can get some work done.

They don't take cash. I ordered a blackberry matcha and received a drink with absolutely no blackberry in it at all. It was just a matcha latte. Oh and it was $9. Complete waste of money.

Horrible breakfast sandwich and mediocre service. This place is very aesthetic - cute neighborhood roastery vibes. BUT the sausage breakfast sandwich was honestly so terrible, it ruined my entire visit and this review… This place obviously specializes in coffee and I think a mocha (or something more rich) would have done it justice! The beans seem to have a lot of flavor, but I got an iced vanilla latte and it was quite bitter and not sweet enough.

Charging $7.50 for a the smallest breakfast sandwich you’ve ever seen is absolutely wild work. With only a slice of cheese and a simple egg/sausage patty, it was incredibly dry and tasteless. I was expecting something much larger with more toppings or flavor for that price. It just feels like a money grab at that point…like why even have it on the menu? I hate leaving bad reviews, but Seattle coffee shops need to seriously reconsider pricing things like this, or at least the quality of food if they expect customers to keep coming back.

I like the vibe there. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Pet-friendly. Coffee is good, but I’m not an expert in coffee.

Good coffee (most importantly) + nice pastries and seating both indoor and outdoor. It's more expensive than any other independent coffee place in Seattle.
