Good coffee if you like sweet and funky flavours such as peanut butter, sesame or banana lattes. I prefer a plain old oat latter so the sesame latte was a bit rich for me but I could see why this place is so popular.
The black sesame foam for the Gloomy Matcha has me in a chokehold…. I tried recreating it at home, but it comes nowhere near as close to what you can get here. I came right at opening time before my flight took off because I just had to get another Gloomy Matcha 😂 it’s THAT good. Wish we had an Aroom on the east coast 😭

I let them know it was my first time here, and despite how busy the line was behind me, the service didn’t slip. He explained their specialty is Vietnamese coffee with various cream/foam toppings. I came for the matcha, however, so he offered a sample of the black sesame cream in order to make my decision easier. I went for black sesame cream, aka the Gloomy Matcha latte with oat milk as a substitute, and it was VERY delicious.
