The concept and drink ideas were definitely there, and seemed creative enough - but the execution unfortunately not as much. My matcha was quite weak - I got one of the medium sizes and I think they probably put the same amount of matcha as the smallest size because it tasted like just milk, and the matcha wasnt super vibrant green like it should be, but rather a more dulled yellow green like it was somewhat oxidated. I make a lot of matcha at home and order it a lot at my favorite...
The iced latte was good not great and the inner space is nice for short duration computer work as there are no outlets there. They have interesting alternate milk options like Hemp and Macadamia Nut.
This little cafe had pretty damn good coffee and quite a bit of artsy prints as well as some bits and bobs. The cool logo caught my attention, so I got a sticker with my coffee and it just so happened that the artist who made it was there!
Despite an event in downtown Ballard, this place was pretty quiet and chill which was nice. It’s a pretty small space, but it really embodies the good Seattle vibes of ‘artsy local coffee shop.’
