I ended up here one night and I wasn't happy because I was missing Monday Night Football. That was four years ago and I absolutely love this place! The pasta is the best pasta I have ever eaten. I put my for down to savor and appreciate each bite!I like to sit at the counter where the chefs are doing their thing....I like talking to them to pick up tips on pasta preparation!A definite go to spot!!

Well, that was an A+ meal and affordable. Ordered Bread, Arugula Salad, Meatballs, pasta of the day, 2 cocktails. Nothing fell flat was excellent all around. The Meatballs, pasta of the day, and Old Fashion were all stand outs. Hats off to the bartender.

Only came for drinks, servers were friendly and informative but it took 40 mins to get a cocktail. Restaurant was not packed. I think they forgot about our order but it happened twice in 1

Delicious food! Go for happy hour, it’s a great deal. Had an excellent espresso martini, the meatball, and the pasta della sera which was a pork cheek ragout (to die for). I see a lot of reviews mention portion size, but this isn’t really “American” portions and I didn’t expect big Olive Garden portions. ??‍♀️ All in all, an amazing meal with great service!

Food was excellent but the server made us feel like we were a massive inconvenience the minute we walked in. Not planning on returning on that basis alone.

Meh. None of the flavors were jumping out or speaking to me. Tiramisu wasn't doing its thang!!

I've been going here every month for the better part of 2 years now! My boyfriend and I love coming here - the staff, food, and seasonal dishes are incredible. A common remark is the portion sizes being small, and it's definitely true but make sure to take your time with each dish. They're excellently crafted and the pasta is made in-house. We try to make it through each of their seasonal menus as they come out. We haven't had a bad experience yet! The cocktails are also gorgeous, just not in my standard flavor profile so I typically opt for their house wine. The atmosphere is one of my favorites: quirky yet classy, with an art deco style which makes it fun, relaxed, yet elevated. Note: there's a decent parking garage to the left of Artusi's entrance in case you can't find cheaper street parking. Subnote: you're paying a bit extra for the craftsmanship and service so expect to pay a bit more for less quantity (but definitely high quality!)

This food is pricey for how small the portions are. Pasta was good but nothing to write home about or unique about it. I liked my mushroom pasta dish but my friend ordered ravioli that was tiny in size and appeared barely filled. Maybe go to the place next door instead? We ended up going to a bar to grab pizza slices since the portion sizes were small, even after an appetizer and drinks.

Took the entire family, kids included, to Seattle for a week. Searched around for a high-end but not too expensive Italian restaurant and landed on Artusi. Lucky for us, when we wandered in without a reservation, they had availability and a table for four. We sat by the window and watched people wander by and look jealously in the window. we shared a variety of great dishes - fried hazelnuts, Barada, fish, pasta. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend the meatballs, which come with a side of extremely buttery garlic toast. we also shared a bottle of the house red, a Pinot Noir that paired perfectly with our food. Service was a bit on the moody side, but attentive. Highly recommend!!

Wow. The valentines night was an absolute scam. Literally soggy pancakes with some gravy. A tasteless butter lettuce salad (with one orange slice). A decent cooked beef piece, with some sub-par sauce. And then a wacky angel cake that was thrown onto plate like we're birds in a park.

WAS (past tense) previously my favorite pasta restaurant. Have visited multiple times! While the food has been consistency good in terms of flavor and execution, in my most recent visit, I was disappointed by the reduced menu options and significantly smaller food portions, specifically for their pastas. I'm unsure when this restaurant change occurred, as it had been a few months since my last visit, but for the price of the entrees it's no longer worth it for me. I brought a few female friends who have never tried this restaurant and I was a little embarrassed that the portion size was so "small" even for us. It was a child's portion size of food. I'm sorry, but if you can get handmade pasta with high-quality ingredients from Pasta Casalinga for a more approachable price with double the portion size (aka enough food to comfortably feed an average adult), then the only thing EXTRA you're getting from Artusi is a cocktail menu and ambiance. Very typical Seattle to charge extra for "atmosphere" while a group of women leave the restaurant hungry. I know it's a recession, but c'mon man...

Artusi had been one of my Seattle favorite for years. The food and the atmosphere have always been the perfect blend of comfortable and elevated.A year or 2 ago, I had a terrible experience with the sommelier (who came in from sister restaurant Spinasse). We wanted to try something new but he was rude, condescending, and insisted that all Italian wine is bone dry. Now, I'm not a sommelier, but I know enough about wine + have had a lot of Italian wine in my years and know that it's just not true. He ruined the experience for us so after that, we stayed away.Fast forward to last weekend and we decided to give it another go. Back to it's former self, had a great experience! Food: still excellent. Service: Lilly was amazing! She was fun to interact with, on top of everything we needed, and went out of her way to bring some extra touches. Cortland helped us with our wine selection and was a complete 180 from the sommelier that turned us off before. Friendly, casually chatted with us about the wine....zero pretention. So glad that we gave it another shot and will keep going back!

Definitely on our list to go back. No reservations, walk in only. We were sat at the chef's bar. So fun to watch them work their magic and to be able to chat with them at the same time. Service is impeccable, love the vibe of the space. Can't wait to go back and get more meatballs!!
