Superb meal. The meatballs will change your life. Wonderful handmade pasta. Inventive, amaro-forward drinks. A happy hour that is very much worth it. This restaurant is an absolute gem, full stop. Do not under any circumstances miss an opportunity to go here.
This was our second visit to Artusi and we loved it just as much or maybe even a little more than our first visit...
The ambiance is good. Service is attentive if not overly friendly.
There are a number of tables and 2 bar seating areas... one at the actual bar and the other at the open kitchen. We really enjoy sitting at the open kitchen bar as we get to watch all the cooking action! Everything is hand and fresh made here... the noodles, sauces, meatballs...

The service is very hit or miss. Some servers are extremely nice and some (1 in particular) are consistently annoyed with your presence and just wishes you would leave - that is the attitude. It's a bummer because the food is really good. I've been twice with great food, but I won't return because of the surly service I received at the end of the night, and we weren't over our allotted service time And we were well away from closing time!
