This is our favorite restaurant in Seattle. We have been eating there for 30 years and it never fails to provide a great dining experience.
There aren't enough positive adjectives to describe what a great night it was. Chet (our server) was exceptional. Timely, great recommendations, engaging and charming. The food was equally impressive. The osso bucco - Fahgettabahtit. There were 5 of us and we all raved. Our new favorite Italian in Seattle. ~Uncle Jimmy
The food is excellent and portions generous. The wait staff is very friendly but some of the other staff is not so pleasant. The ambiance is good but depending where you are seated can leave something to be desired.
Love Assagio's Great variety of well prepared Italian foods. Daily specials often include at least one fish entree. Friendly welcoming staff, good bar and fun wine menu.
Always a great experience. Starting with Antonio greeting us for our reservation and being seated right away. Our waiter greeting us and having our drinks right away. The food being nice and hot, flavored and amazing. We love Assiagio. Let's not forget Francesca, what can I say, we love you. Thank you for making us feel as family. Ray & Wendy.
Great food.
Super friendly staff. Was good food from start to finish so will definitely be back! There was also a parking garage close by which was not bad at all ($10 for 5 hrs.) We couldn't decide on our starter, they recommended the clams and mussels and they were so good. The fussili and parmigiana were both amazing and finished every bite. (Was a little unsure about the currants when I ordered but they ended up being a great addition to the fussili). Then the pistachio cake special at the end was the best piece of cake I've ever had in my life! Would definitely recommend for anyone who likes eating delicious food.

Authentic Italian food, learnt that this is a family owned restaurant and the owner and the daughter are actually from Tuscany. That explains why the food was so good. Would 100% come back

Great food and prompt , friendly service with nice ambience. Vegetarian friendly - almost all pastas can be made without meat except lasagna. Prices were decent, given the location and quality.
Restaurant was walkable from our hotel in downtown Seattle. Good Italian food at generally good prices. Popular place. Nice atmosphere.
We arrived early to get diner before our show at the symphony. The food was good but nothing special. We asked split the Black Cod and they did it nicely. The fish was well prepared but nothing exceptional. I had a drink from their menu and it was very light on the gin and mostly ice. Disappointing. Our server was not very friendly or inviting. Adequate best. It sure if we just had an off night. No sure if we will go back.
The food was great, the service is the best.
I will go back.

Overall environment is cozy and aside from tight spacing between tables, we had a pleasant experience dining at Assaggio on a Saturday night. Both the sautéed calamari and carpaccio are delicious, and I love the chef special pasta dish. Highly recommended to give a try in DT Seattle.
