Highly recommend for their matcha and hot drinks! (But not boba)Genmaicha hot chocolate was amazing - nutty, chocolatey, and not too sweet nor too rich. Matcha is great quality, and is properly sifted.I've tried some of the milk teas with boba, but wasn't as impressed, here's why:- their cups are smaller than typical boba cups, so if you add topping(s) you noticeably sacrifice the amount of tea you receive- the cold milk teas I've tried are kind of watery, and the boba is a bit gummy and not as chewy/bouncy as I'd like. The wateriness could probably be fixed by using half and half or cream instead of milk.Very cute shop, but limited seating! They also sell some pastries and soft serve ice cream. Both pretty good.

Fantastic! I loved my strawberry matcha with boba. Not too sweet, either! And the service was perfect.

Safe to say that I hard launched my relationship with matcha. I went in with a lot of questions since I am new to drinking matcha. The baristas were so kind. I just got what one of them recommended which was a iced strawberry matcha with coconut milk. I asked for mine to be half sweet which was delightful. There wasn’t plenty of seating so I ended up waiting for a table which was not bad at all.Would definitely come back!

I was not expecting this place to pass expectations, but it kinda did. On top of that, I wasn't expecting white people boba to be this delicious? LOLI came here when me and my friend was trying to search for a boba place around capitol hill, and I was just walking around with him in the park just down the street. It was just a regular exercise type of day and I just wanted to satisfy a boba craving. We arrived, and omg during a weekday afternoon the place was already full and packed with tons of people sitting in their seatings spots. Was not expecting this place to be popular, but it seems so. Good for them! And then we proceeded to order drinks. I got their Hojicha something something boba. I might have told them half sweet with pearls, I really don't remember anymore. I only have like 1 photo of the place and it was the outside because there were no more seating within the establishment. After my first sip of the boba, I was surprised, white people do a great boba. The Hojicha was perfectly bitter and creamy at the same time. On top of that the pearls were delicious and perfectly sweetened. I would still give them 4 stars for their drinks and how amazing it was. I might be coming back? But we will see in the future! Good Job y'all.

Paid 7.77 for a Black Sesame Latte with matcha and pearls. It was decent, nothing to sing praises about in terms of aroma, texture, or taste.Note that even for dine-in customers, they use single-use plastic.

Unique drinks with custom sweetness level, wished they had fresh ingredients (like real ginger or actual fruits instead of purée or jam)

Genmaicha Hot Chocolate $5.45Dirty Matcha $5.95The tea had a strong taste, was not too sweet, and was very delicious! For matcha drinks, they will make matcha on the spot ?At a regular cafe, even 25% sweetness can be quite sweet, but at this cafe, even 50% wasn't too sweet and you could still taste the tea, which made me happy!Although the number of seats is small, it is a clean store with a cute interior On my second visit, I took out Matcha Latte and Ube Coffee Latte!Ube Coffee Latte was especially delicious ? I want to go again!postscriptAfter that, I continued to visit and accumulated point cards It's delicious no matter when you go!

I got an Earl Grey tea (lactose free). It was yummy! Had a bit of a twang of something that I couldn't put my finger on. I wish I had the option to get it in a larger size.

Boba is always solid, chewy! I've tried their matcha before and it was way too strong. I like their lychee rose and earl grey the most. Their service is also always solid in terms of speed. I wish the space was bigger since sometimes it can get crowded. Another reason why I love this place is that alternative milks are free and included in the price.

Got hot matcha ube latte with boba. Matcha overpowered ube. Boba was soft and slimy due to heat. It's aight.Definitely the wrong drink combo to try for my first and only time here. This review is solely on the experience of that singular drink.Try something else! Or try it if you're curious. Just try this place anyway.

Ube matcha was okay. Hoyt green tea shortbread was OK. Not too sweet.

Super cute coffee shops with an amazing selection of beverages. Their website doesn't have menu but if you click on "order online" you'll see what they have. I tried Chaga Mushroom Latte ($6.20) and a Banana Milk Latte ($6.25). The first one was surprisingly good, didn't taste like anything specific. The banana latte is amazing and you can definitely taste the banana milk flavor.
