Most recently, I had their Saba noodles, and... yum! My dinner partners had Dan Dan udon, Karaage, Beef Tataki, and a crab roll. Everything was delicious, and tasted clean and fresh.
As an unexpected side note, I like lassis but I am usually worried about mango lassis being too sweet. The mango lassi I got here was perfect – just the natural sweetness of mango. I never thought I would talk about mango lassis in a review of a Japanese restaurant, but here we are – their mango lassi was grrrreat!
I am looking forward to coming back soon!

The food was absolutely amazing! The udon was cooked to perfection as it was chewy and delectable. The restaurant had a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I truly enjoyed my experience and will definitely return the next time I’m in Seattle!

We moved from Japan recently and this place reminds us of Japan. All the original flavors and the fresh noodles are so authentic. It really is a small piece of Japan in Seattle!
Not a lot of flavor in the broth, but noodle texture was good. However, big bowls != lot of food, esp for the price point. It's mostly broth.
The atmosphere amongst the staff in the kitchen seemed kinda tense, and it seemed like they might've been thawing meat with hot water. Was kinda slow because they're not really efficient at taking orders (the same guy who is responsible for taking orders also seemed to be cooking).
Also, 2/4 of my party had stomach issues after this meal. Unsure if it was related, but the only other thing we ate in common that night were cookies.

My wife and I visited last night and was thoroughly impressed. I had the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and my wife had the yuzushio chicken udon. Both were spectacular. It was also a pleasure chatting with Max who has deep experience in Japan and throughly knew the food and culture.
Absolutely incredible beef curry udon. I think about eating it in my dreams

One of my favourite restaurants in the city. Great people and vibes. Absolutely delicious food! I had the veggies akikage and yuzu shio chicken ramen and the portions are so big I had ramen for lunch the next day! Really a special gem. We're so lucky to have them.

The tomato udon was the best udon I've had by far in the US.

Shio Yuzu was good, but the Niku one was just okay. Portion was huge though, and noodle texture was great!
It would’ve been an overall enjoyable meal, but there are SO many flies in the restaurant, it was kind of gross :( I’d be back if they fix the fly issue!
