B&Z Family Mexican Restaurant

We love coming here for lunch. My son wanted bacon and eggs, but not the huge adult portion, so they made him his own little kids breakfast! He was so happy and so were we. We love how friendly and accommodating this place is. Always a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

Really nice people here but the food is just not good. The chicken is very bland. I got the 3 enchiladas and it lacked flavor and i felt icky after. My girlfriend had the chimichangas and said it lacked flavor and the chicken was dry and bland. Her stomach also hurt after. And the price is wild for the quality you’re getting but I understand rent on the ave must be high. It was also quite empty during the weekend both at lunch and dinner which may be saying a lot.

I really enjoyed my time at this family-owned restaurant. The food was good, nothing particularly more exceptional than other good Mexican restaurants, but I did like that the portion sizes were very large. And the service was excellent! They also had great decorations and the place was very clean and welcoming.

Just moved to Seattle and wanted to try this restaurant. Very good service but unfortunately the food is very bland not what you expect from a Mexican restaurant.

As a mexican, this place is totally worth it, affordable prices and the amount of food is amazing, excellent service and a really good selection of music, the agua de horchata is just perfection, I felt in home here.

Took my parents there for a birthday the other night and enjoyed it greatly. Food wasn’t awful. Prices felt normal except for margarita’s seemed a little $$. The owners were super nice and attentive. Tossed in a few free desserts for the birthday girl and the rest of our group. Feels like it gets ignored because it’s one block north of the main Queen Anne Ave strip. Will be going there more often as a QA dinner spot.

Unfortunately the enchiladas were boring with little cheese. The chips were great but the salsa was too watery to stay on the chip.The margarita was good! I added hot sauce to everything to give it some flavor. This is what people want, I guess.
