The pho bo sot vang is my new favorite dish in the city, with everything there is to love about a typical pho with the most tender and excellently prepared beef and an incredible depth of flavor. This is my new favorite restaurant in town. The drinks are also tasty and reasonably priced.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Ba Bar. The house cocktails are wonderful, I tried 3 different ones and highly recommend the Garden Shed. The bartender was super knowledgeable and kind. However, when it comes to food, I do have some advice for anyone who is gluten free (GF). It is important to note that the menu is not labeled GF, rather GS (gluten sensitive). Overpriced for run of the mill pho, though i did not try anything else (and the menu is more extensive). High quality ingredients, but not much comexity in flavor, and presentation felt like the bare minimum (like placing extra veggies on a side plate, where they were basically cold, instead of mixing into the pho as one would normally expect).
