Kurogoma & Kinako deluxe Sundae: love it but just too sweet. Corn flake was a little stale but love the bottom custardy pudding thing

There’s a few outdoor seating but otherwise you’ll have to take this to go

The ice cream sundae and every topping individually are each some of the best I've had. 10/10 Bai-ten is a good reason to have ice cream.

expanding curiosity

Doesn't seem like the right bread for the traditional fruit sandwich. Strawberries were very sour. Price point isnt really good for the quality. In my honest opinion

This is easily the best soft serve I've ever had. The kuro goma had such a deep, roasted, nutty aroma that paired perfectly with the light and creamy vanilla soft serve. The lady serving us was super polite and friendly, too. I cannot wait to treat myself here again.

I only had the sandwich and not the soft serve, which may be the problem, but I left a bit disappointed - the flavor didn’t really come through on anything for me

Place to try Japanese soft serve and desserts. We tried 3 flavors Matcha, Black sesame and Yuzu (Japanese citrus), and they were same base of vanilla ice cream with different syrups. Matcha flavor was light compared to other two but we liked all three. Would like to try again with topping options.

Delicious ice cream

The best soft serve ice cream I’ve ever had.

I had the yuzu flavor and my friend got the kuro goma (black sesame). The base is the same for both—dense, creamy, and super satisfying. The difference comes from the syrup on top.

The yuzu was really refreshing. The flavor was bright and citrusy without being too strong or too sweet. Just a really nice balance.

The kuro goma was also great. They grind the sesame in-house, and you can really taste that deep, nutty flavor. It didn’t taste artificial at all—just rich and smooth.

I also tried the 206 curry, which is their original Japanese-style curry rice. It had a good amount of spice, but for me it was a little too salty. Still, the flavor overall was solid.

I’d definitely go back just for the soft serve. It really stood out (Hot take: liked it better than Indigo cow)

Got the strawberry sandwich and black sesame ice cream. It all tasted great!

This review is on their softserve only and does not include sandwiches.
So excited about trying their softserve and sundae, perhaps my expectation was a bit too high?
We had dinner a block away and walked over for dessert. Who wouldn't want softserve on a hot day? We got a black sesame softserve and a sundae. The softserve itself was just ok. The black sesame syrup was a bit too sweet and you can't really taste anything else. The sundae has more components : mochi in green tea powder, red bean, pocky stick, cookie, and held up better. Overall as softserve goes, it's not as good as Indigo cow's Hokkaido milk softserve. I think with softserve, quality of milk really matters.

Their ice cream is very sweet, smooth, and creamy. Mix very well to combine that rich matcha flavor with the sweetness of the ice cream.
It's not overwhelming, just perfectly balanced. Definitely give it a try.

Their cookie ice cream was good. It has red bean, so if you are not a fan of it, then get something else. They have a variety of options to choose from.

Yuzu soft serve was perfect!

The matcha deluxe sundae was pretty good despite some waiting in line since the line was somewhat long.

Creamy soft serve. I tried the black sesame syrup one, but want to try others too. You can ask for samples to taste. Restroom in the restaurant it is located in — just ask the restaurant server.
