We recently stopped by this place and enjoyed a few cocktails. They were so interesting and fun. I was impressed with the cocktail - “She is Beauty, She is Grace” it was such a beautiful drink. My husband had the “Gonna Get Chip Faced” - we loved the snacks we had too.
The atmosphere was super lively!
The bar tenders were awesome, I only caught one name though - thanks Olive for the great time!
We will be back and highly recommend this spot in the future!

Perfect atmosphere for the cozy neighborhood its in. Drinks and food are great, thoughtful and reasonably priced, and I can tell everyone working here gives a shit. One of my fav Ballard spots to catch up with my people at.

Normally a wonderful experience but challenges tonight. Food and drinks were great but service was lacking. Nobody told us there were happy hour offerings and even while sitting at the bar after finishing my drink after 10 mins nobody came to offer me another for the remaining 40 mins we were there. When it was time to pay they were quick to take our card but forgot again about us for another 15 mins. Was hoping for the consistency around what has been good service, but tonight didn’t live up to it. Disappointing to say the least.

Somewhat on the expensive side of things. For cocktails that land on par, not above par like prices would imply. But like other reviews have noted, it’s cute and cozy establishment One bartender I had was very knowledgeable and kind. Another put out a subtle vibe of entitlement, not welcoming. But it’s possible I was over reading that. Good food. But just a bit too expensive to come regularly. Overall a nice neighborhood spot.

What a gem of a place—we were cozy and warm on their patio in December with all the heaters, and the food and wine was so good—I loved the roasted broccoli in a delicious spicy tomato sauce, and my seated scallops were outstanding. My husband loved his short ribs. Our starter of a cheese plate with apples, crostini and honey was also delicious. We will be back!

Seems like this would be a welcoming place if your group orders multiple rounds of drinks and plates but if you just want to have one drink and a few plates, not so much. Felt pushed out by our server after just 45 minutes…she literally kind of forcibly handed the check to my friend and told us to have a good evening after she asked us if we wanted more drinks (even though we were still drinking ours).

Delightful little craft cocktail bar serving inventive and complex drinks along with classics and a small but mighty food menu, plus an outdoor patio section for when the weathers nice. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. Plus they have Fernet! Highly recommend.

What a shame because I really wanted to like this place. But I don't know if the bartender was having a bad night or that's just their attitude. Sat down by the bar for a while and was greeted with "we usually ask people to sit first" but there were no such sign by the door. And the place is so small with no waiting or hostess area in the front so it doesn't even make sense. Never been to a place where you can't just go and sit by the bar.
I didn't leave a good tip because of the interaction. I remember exactly what I tipped since it's much lower than my normal amount. But they overcharged on my card at the end. Now it turns from a bad interaction to theft.
Great cocktails and vibrant atmosphere. Also great for a bite to eat if you are getting hangry.

Sadly, we have discovered that the service at this local bar is hit and miss. Food and atmosphere never disappoint, but be prepared to wait for everything. A. Long. Time. They’re either understaffed or they don’t really care.

wow just an overall amazing experience Carry was our server and we had lovely conversations and even better service, Tony in the kitchen does an absolute wonderful job cheffing it up the food was so flavorful and obviously he pays attention to detail. i would suggest for the current menu the birria sando (the consume is to die for) and the brussels sprouts (seriously some of the best i’ve had) and for a cocktail, the “too good for your home” (perfectly balanced with the rhubarb and mezcal) this was a great experience and i will definitely be back
