I always get the roasted milk tea with boba here. The milk tea is wonderful with a strong tea flavor. This is the only place I've been to that makes this flavor. However, the boba, although still good, always seems to be a little undercooked(or left out for too long?).

Not sure why this place has such a low attraction but I find Bambu to have one of the best tasting boba places ever. The milk tea was pre-made and was taking out of the fridge which turned me off a bit...but the tea flavor is strong and the overall flavor is well balanced. Came at around dinner time and there were no other customers, same thing with Bambu's Chinatown location. I do have to mention though: I found a metallic confetti looking thing in my drink which was concerning.

Love Bambu! First try in U district. 2nd drink today lol! However, it's very dark in this store. As you can see in my picture, at first I thought they didn't open. They offer board games in this store which is very group and kid friendly. You need to pay $0.4 more if it's $10 or less.

One of my favorite dessert places on the ave! I'm usually not a big fan of drinks but Bambu is an exception. I always get their taro & red kidney drink because those are my favorite toppings and they use real taro in their drink instead of powder. I also really like the jelly in the drink as it's chewy and usually has distinct herb flavors. I've also tried their shaved ice, which is decent and enough for two. Despite that, I do think this place is more expensive than other boba places, probably because they put a lot of stuff in their drink, and it costs more money. Their drink is really stuffing anyways, so I always share with my friend to split the cost. In general this place is worth trying if you have never been there before. Not sure why it's usually empty inside but hope more people come to check it out!

My niece ordered the shaved ice dish and absolutely LOVED it. My Taro smoothie with pearls was absolutely delish!!! Probs the best Tara smoothie that I ever had. My older sis ordered the strawberry-kiwi smoothie and was thoroughly satisfied with its delish and distinct flavors :) I would def come here again especially on a hot summer day!!!

Drinks are very inconsistent. One day is good and full of flavors. One day is tasteless or even spoiled-like. I caught reflection of a girl bare handed mold the ice to put on top of many drinks. Should I be concerned about the hygiene situation in Bambu?

Wouldn't recommend for bubble tea.

I want sure about Bambu at first, but I've really grown to love them. They have a lot of space inside, and a lot of tables for groups to use, which is awesome. The menu is very unique for the U District, too. You can get your typical milk tea/boba drinks, but you can also get Vietnamese iced coffee (the kind with condensed milk) and a ton of different fruit smoothies. I've tried the durian smoothie, the soursop smoothie, the jackfruit smoothie and the avocado smoothie, and each was excellent. Bambu also has these awesome snow ice desserts with the toppings of your choice. Drinks range from about $4.50-$6.25, depending on what you get.

Recommend for the wall of drinks. Ended up getting the snow ice. They don't have all the flavors advertised but it was good. Wasn't the halo halo or shaved ice style I'm used to. It was good nevertheless.

Nice ambiance, always clean, fun music, and some games to play with friends.

great place for desserts but their drinks are a little bit too sweet for our tastes

Everything is super overpriced here, but typical of an Asian drink shop in Seattle. The main problem is that they charge an extra 50 cents on credit card transactions under $10, but this is written super small off to the side. Also, the staff didn't bother to notify me and should have been aware enough to let me know BEFORE paying. I only knew when it was too late. Otherwise, I would have gotten a more expensive item or 2. They might as well price their drinks at $5 because my drink ended up costing more than $5 after the fee and plus tax on top of that. They have all the usual Asian drink flavors and a lot to choose from. Make sure to spend more than $10 if paying with a credit card. I wonder if they're pocketing that extra fee themselves.

Bambu is a drink you should try when you are in the area. It is a Vietnamese drink place that is quite unique. Their coconut water and coconut meat is pretty tasty. Their puddings taste ok too.

Ordered (2) Guava Smoothies and (1) Honeydew. My aunt said the Guava doesn't taste like actual guava but honeydew was delightful and the popping lychee balls were a fun addition.
