I was excited to try Bang Bar as I live around the corner and have heard good things.

I stood at the entrance for a while and nobody came to seat me. I sat at the bar, and the first thing I was asked was whether I was waiting for a to-go order—not exactly a welcoming start. After placing my order, I was essentially forgotten. It was difficult to get the bartender’s attention, and after 30 minutes, I finally managed to flag him down to ask a question about...

Amazing pad thai! The sauce was the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and peanut-y. The tofu was perfectly crispy on the outside. The portion size was super generous and I enjoyed the leftovers at home! The restaurant is very cozy and the service was lovely.

Great Thai place. I could literally order anything and enjoy it. Drink are very good too. Love the Hibiscus Mai Thai. The service is usually pretty good, but tonight was pretty awful.
