We arrived at the Bar Harbor Restaurant just as the Kentucky Derby started. So, like the other patrons, we were glued to the TV until the race was over. It was exciting to watch! Being a Maine-themed restaurant, I kind of had to get the lobster roll from here, of course Maine-style, which comes with the lobster meat cold and mixed
with mayo. It also came with (oddly) two sides of slaw.

Our food was really good, the service was prompt and friendly and it's a nice open concept restaurant. My Connecticut style crab roll looked like it wasn't much food but like an iceberg is 90% under water, there was a ton of buttery crab hidden in the bun. The coleslaw was crunchy and delicately dressed. The draft beer I ordered was tapped out and our server brought out a nice alternative for me to consider, I loved that he made it easy. We'll be back.
