The food is always absolutely amazing. From the drinks to the risotto hands down my favorite Italian food in Seattle.
Fabrizio was an incredible server and made great suggestions regarding the wine and entree selections. He was also a wealth of knowledge regarding the wineries and the meal preparation. The food was excellent and we will be back. Thank you!
Hostess was rude and condescending. Wanted to seat us in a shared booth with 2 strangers. Other booths available but were reserved and available all evening even though we had reservations she would not seat us in a booth by ourselves. Very strange policy that couples have to share a booth. Food was good, but chairs were cheap lawn hard chairs at tables. Overall experience was poor because of poor customer care. Most likely they rely on tourists and not repeat customers.
Delicious. First, the focaccia bread is amazing. We had the eggplant parmesan and Lobster Risotto, equally perfect.
Fun, lively modern vibe, excellent not too fussy Italian, great service, good Italian wine selection (owner Salvio recommended the perfect Barolo), good value - & during happy hours fantastic value!
Food was excellent. Service was good and efficient but lacked the feeling of welcoming hospitality you would expect in a classical Italian restaurant. Got the impression they were just doing their job.
From start to finish the whole experience at Barolo was fantastic. Servers were friendly and the food was Phenomenal! Would recommend if you're looking for a spot to take a special loved one or if you're looking for amazing Italian cuisine!
Went for a birthday dinner and it was exceptional! Darko was our server and he was extremely attentive and helpful!!
We got the fettuccine di mare and it was very delicious! Be careful squeezing the shrimp out of the shell… those puppies really fly.

The food was amazing but the service was not. It was not my first time there but it was for the person that I was with. I would like to mention that I had the spaghetti carbonara and he had seafood fettuccine and both were amazing. I had a delicious gin drink that was amazing. I had two of them and he had an old-fashioned that he said was subpar. Overall, the waiter was not very friendly, not attentive, not very helpful and almost aggressive at certain times. Needless to say, neither of us will be back.
Loved it. So good

Wow this place is so beautiful at night - happy hour was such a good deal, and the naked and fabulous cocktail was complex and smoky! Wow I love this place

Definitely good for the drinks but the food really isn’t that great, I have made better rissotto at home. I really think they can do a better job for the elevated prices.

Great dining experience. Very nice comfortable dining environment. Excellent service, delicious food cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.
I really don’t understand the hype around Barolo. There are plenty of Italian restaurants in Seattle that offer similar—if not better—experiences at more reasonable prices. The service and atmosphere were fine, but the food was underwhelming across the board.
The calamari starter was okay, but the tomato sauce was so overpowering it masked any real flavor. I ordered a pasta dish with meat, but oddly enough, it didn’t come with any pasta—just a dry, overcooked piece of meat (despite requesting medium). The portions were surprisingly small, especially considering the prices.
Dessert was also disappointing. The tiramisu didn’t resemble a traditional Italian version—it lacked ladyfingers and felt more like an Americanized interpretation. Even the espresso martini needed correcting because they included Baileys instead of sticking to the classic recipe.
On top of all that, they automatically add a 20% service charge plus a 3.5% additional fee. You’re essentially locked into tipping 25% whether you like it or not, and that’s not something I’m okay with—especially when the food doesn’t justify it.
Bottom line: for the price, you can have a much better Italian dining experience elsewhere in Seattle. This was a one-time visit for me, and I won’t be returning

Tasty bolognese, mushroom ravioli had good texture and appearance but lacked flavor. Charcuterie platter was excellent as was the lamb carpaccio.
