French food, super delicious. Got there about one, it wasn't busy. Looking forward to a return trip. It has a nice feel to it.

Oh man this was a recommendation from a friend from Miami. And it sure was tasty. We went early before our cruise so we didn't get to sample the dinner menu but I got to try some great dishes.

Bastille is an excellent French Bistro. Their brunch is always satisfying and reasonably priced, and their cocktails are superb! The duck confit is sublime, as is the croque madame. They do French comfort food very well.

Bastille Cafe & Bar is such an hidden gem! I was introduced to the back bar by one of my partners in crime. It's an unassuming spot with a uber cool atmosphere. It's surrounded by dark, rich wood, you almost don't feel like you're in Seattle. So to get here, you have to pass through the main dining area, as if you're on your way to the bathrooms, but to the left of the men's bathroom is the doorway into the Back Bar! When you enter the space really opens up! There's the bar to the left. If you walk outside there's patio seating as well. The past few times I've come through I've noted a more mature set of customers than I've seen recently out on Ballard Ave, which is definitely welcome. The staff here are accommodating and friendly, I say accommodating, because my gal pal definitely knows what she wants and is very specific about it, and they understand that. We've only had a few items off the HH menu, most of the time we're here just to chat. A few times they've hosted some musical guests and most recently a whiskey event, with $5 special whiskey cocktails.Overall, I love the Back Bar at Bastille. It's like a secret society, of course, it's not a secret anymore...

We enjoyed the evening so much, warm night in Ballard and a great dining experience at Bastille Cafe.

After work I went with a friend to have a drink at the back bar at Bastille. The atmosphere is nice. The service is excellent. If you're in Ballard looking for a place to have a drink or get something to eat give Bastille a try.

Great service and delicious food. Drinks were way over priced. $12 for an 8 oz bloody Mary! Try the croque madame, for sure. It was amazing.

We had a wonderful evening at Bastille to celebrate our son’s 21st birthday. We visit Bastille once or twice a year and it is always good. My only issue is that the dessert selections are few. They used to make a creme brûlée that was tasty. No longer on the menu. Wait staff were great.

One of our go to restaurants in Ballard since 2016. Tragically, in the last few months they changed the steak frites sauce (from a Bordelaise/chimichurri to a sauce au poivre) and the lamb burger (no longer arugula and comte, now lettuce and feta). Both changes are substantial downgrades of deliciousness. We'll be back, but not as often.

When I want Bistro food this is my go to. Have been here many times over the years and have always been happy. Food is very good, great service and the bartenders are all very good. There is a reason they are still here after all these years, they are very good at what they do.

I sent my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are appetizing and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. always when we visit this place we have a pleasing evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

This place is amazing! Super cool atmosphere with a great menu to pick from. I had the noodles plus we had a bottle of red wine to go with dinner. Parking was tough but all in all a great place to go eat and good vibes.

Food very overpriced and menu very limited. The French onion soup was good but $15, ridiculous. To make matters worst our waiter totally sucked.
