This place is gas! Everything on the menu is very delicious and is high quality. 5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
So good I went twice. Try the salmon melt worth it. People do say this cheese does taste salty but I liked it.
I think; It's not as good as they say. It's also very expensive.
Beecher's is my favorite cheese ever, and I have to order it online to get it since they don't sell it in the stores in VA. So it was a dream to see it all in person in its original Seattle location! I bought a variety of their cheeses plus their cute little cutting boards with their logo on it!
Came on a Sunday..saw the line and said absolutely not. Came back on a Monday no line..came back again on a Tuesday no line.
When I came back I decided to try their Mac and cheese and kimchi grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was fine..but I think it was fine because I waited a couple hours to eat it. The mac and cheese was so good!!! I can see why their mac and cheese is famous.
What can I say? Their mac and cheese is delightful with the perfect amount of cheese and flavor! If you are in Pike's Place I know Beecher's is already on your list..but if you want to skip the line I suggest you come on a weekday.
If I ever have any regret in life it’s not getting back in line and purchasing more. I came to visit Seattle and saw quite a line in pikes market area. The line was moving very quickly and decided to have some Mac & cheese. After getting my first bite I instantly floated in the clouds and became lost in time. If you had to visit this city and do or try one thing only this would be it!
Its just mac and cheese tbh nothing fancy or amazing about it place is really cool do.
This is a very good cheese store and café. I tried the mac & cheese and grilled cheese sandwich, both were amazing. I highly recommend this establishment.
Hype: 11/10
Pasta (vegetarian): 10/10
Breadzel (from Washington State University): 0/10 – unfortunately, the bread was horrible and completely inedible.
Beecher’s definitely delivers on the vibe, but not everything hits the mark. That said, I had one of the best pastas in town the cheese and flavors were outstanding, and it was served hot.
A few things to note: there’s no seating, it’s strictly grab-and-go.
Would I come back? Maybe, if I’m a tourist visiting Pike Place. Definitely a one-time treat rather than a regular spot.
Get some Mac & cheese! It has a bit of a kick! Flagship cheese is also delicious!

Beecher's Handmade Cheese is definitely a must-try stop while at the Market. You absolutely must try the mac and cheese. it is famous for a reason and tastes pretty good! Crucial advice: The cheese is incredibly thick and rich, so I highly recommend you just get one cup and share it with your group. It's delicious, high quality comfort food, but a small amount goes a very long way!
People are right that this store likely has some of the best mac and cheese around. While very creamy, it lacks a little on the taste side. I would have preferred a slightly stronger taste to counter-balance the pasta. That said, the flagship grilled cheese (note the addition to tomatoes, which break up the cheese) was very good. When walking around the market area, this is a good place to stop and have a snack while watching the cheese being made.
A Seattle and Pikes Place classic. Love the cheeses and would highly recommend if you’re a first timer or coming back
The most helpful staff and the best food. Don’t miss this place.
