Had an awesome time at Black Bottle! Their all day happy hour on Mondays is a must (the chicken karaage and the broccoli are my personal favs)! Eliza (bartender) and Andreas (server) were so sweet - but seemed totally over run. I cannot believe only 2 people were working when it was that busy… still giving 5 stars cause the bartender and the server made it happen but seems like a poor management decision…
Reasonable prices dishes. Great variety. Excellent vegetable dishes. Solid drinks. Just really solid all round. Parking is significantly better than right in downtown or pike place market area, but close to those if you have an event there. And streets are a little cleaner than the nasty parts. So the venue has a few extra pluses beyond the really solid food, service, and atmosphere. For some reason it’s rarely packed when we go in, and we always leave happy.
For a 30 person party everything was very organized and all of the food we had was delicious. Highly recommend for larger groups (reach out to make sure they have availability). The food was served family style and we had our own private area.
