$59 ‘Special’ was a small lobster.. 1 small piece of Prime Rib w a chunk of fat; we had to ask for horseradish and au jus..mashed potatoes.. 3 small carrots, $44 for a small piece of King Salmon.. mashed potatoes and a small pile of spinach w the stems.. .. very limited menu.. very small side Caesar.. love the place .. but seemed really skimpy and thrown together.. good thing I like really poached salmon.. great atmosphere .. always great service.. but lame, small overpriced limited menu and food.. Little food for the price. Wonderful setting but for the price you pay you leave hungry

They try pretty hard and have one of the better restaurant settings in Seattle. Not quiet and romantic but a busy bistro.

The food is just glorified diner food . But parking and atmosphere are great! And service is always good.

You can really feel the local vibe here, and the food is solid. The dishes are tasty and the portions are generous. The cocktails are great too. It’s a wonderful place to relax with a drink and enjoy good food, whether you come on a weekday or the weekend. The views are beautiful when it’s still light out, and there is plenty of parking.

Great view and food. My grandsons and I had the prime rib French dip. Their other gma had fish and chips.

The beef rib appetizer and blue cheese salad make for a wonderful meal, with leftovers

Pros: We enjoyed the water view which is why we chose to go there. Our server was nice. Cheaper than next door at Daniel's Broiler Cons: It was not busy at all but our service was slow. The place is due for a refresh... dated flooring and 80's country style chairs so the ambiance is more of a dive bar.
Service excellent as usual. Really wasn’t that busy which was unusual, but perhaps post holiday…but I had a great brunch here!

The service and atmosphere here is always amazing. I’ve tried allot of the menu and I’m never disappointed. The pizza, burgers, steaks, fish and salads are all great. The Christmas and new years special menu dinners are amazing too.

I came here for new years with my 2 friends and S/O. The level of unprofessionalism from the staff was astounding. Upon checking into our reservation we let the host know we were fine wherever “made it easier for him” aka we weren’t particular on windows ect. He then goes “you want to make things easier for me, you can get out of here and take everyone with you.” He was clearly not having a good night to say the least lol. When we were seated In a table someone else already sat in it and ordered. Brody our waiter was very confused because he asked if someone at the table ordered a martini. My friend was fine with the martini and we decided since the place as so busy it was a fine choice to make things easier for everyone. When the drink came out so did the lady who ordered it to ask about it. She awkwardly hovered over my friend and asked about the drink. Drinks were slow all night because of course things were busy, so I could understand her frustration however my friend already drank out of it. The night proceeds and Brody asks my S/O while we were in the bathroom if “is this a square thing” aka if we were all doing my S/O. Disgusting. Unprofessional. He DIDNT ask us how we wanted the steak, what temperature we wanted our lobster. Which resulted in me and others not being satisfied with our overcooked steak.
Brody topped off the night by asking if the man of the table was getting the bill. My s/o did get the bill. And Brody was tipped 20% on a $400 bill. Undeserving for the lack of manners, the vulgarity and lack of customer service.

I am reticent to be too critical of this place because it’s a neighborhood stalwart. However, we dined here for Christmas Eve and it was a major disappointment. The service was impersonal and rushed, and the food was subpar, uninspired and improperly prepared. Also, the restaurant itself needs some serious updating.
