My favorite part about Fred’s? The coffee. My other favorite part? The staff. Every single time I’ve walked the staff has been nothing but kind and welcoming to me. I’ve even met owner by accident as he was working behind the counter one day and the guy was an absolute gentleman. Truly happy Roosevelt has this neighborhood gem.
Good coffee, good atmosphere, and the staff are always friendly without feeling fake or over the top. The drinks are consistently good and the shop itself is clean, comfortable, and relaxed. Definitely my go-to spot for early morning coffee and work.
1) Get their Specialty drinks if you have the opportunity. The Shakerado is like liquid bliss. Their rotating options on seasons are great.
2) The tacos went up in price recently which is annoying but they are still great mini baby burritos
