Whoever thought to add basic ketchup to what would have been a nice chicken katsu, needs to get out of the kitchen. That was the worst chicken katsu I've ever eaten. Incredibly bad. Stop ruining good food with ketchup. Are you six years old?You might like this place if you drown your food in ketchup.

Tastes solid, but just not enough for the price I feel. At least when I've ordered the tofu dishes, it seems they include too little protein and a little too much of the rest.

My girlfriend and I happened upon this unassuming little fusion spot while in the city for a concert, and we were blown away by the quality of the food and service! The fried chicken bowl was juicy and tender, the pork katsu sandwich was sweet and savory. We both wish Bugis was back home in Vancouver, we'd be eating here a few times a week! Do yourself a favor and check it out!

A nice local eclectic Korean fusion restaurant. Their bowls are a great deal. Healthy and tasty for a reasonable price. Ordering and service is simple and efficient.Vegetarian options: A few options, but fairly limited.

The food seems like weirder/cheaper version of real korean food.Seems ok for a college town. The tables were very sticky. Prices were higher than they should be.

We got the rose cheese Katsu bowl with rice and the bugis pork bowl with yakisoba. It's a perfect lunch portion (actually kind of big, we were pretty full) and has an option for everyone. Both bowls were great and would recommend! Also very casual where you get your own utensils, water, and such which is perfect if you're trying to keep it low maintenance.

Decent price for what you get but pretty standard fare. Boiled egg in the hot spicy pork bowl was over cooked. The bowl was more sweet than spicy.

For some reason I stopped visiting here even after COVID. I used to love this place. Maybe it's the lack of innovation to the menu? Maybe I'm not as price-conscious anymore? This, at one point, was my go-to place for its nutritiously balanced bowls and reasonable prices. I also loved the cute interior when it first opened. So I visited again about few weeks back and the place feels like it has gone through a lot, which I mean... they have. Last time I vaguely remembered that Nuodle next door made them lose power for weeks. But these days even the tables aren't cleaned thoroughly anymore. I don't know how you can justify this. We were one of the 2 tables... My partner and I both had bad cramps after the food. So yeah... maybe this is why I wouldn't visit again :(

Came here for the udistrict food walk. We got this cup of broth with ddubokki, mandu, and fishcake. Also got a honey citron ade like something I would've gotten in korea. Very solid food. I've come here before one last year too and also remember enjoying it. Very nice open cafe vibes in here too even though it's a restaurant.

They use high quality ingredients in Bugis bowl. I would highly recommend this dish. Not a big fan of self service ordering kiosk tho.

This is my new ABSOLUTE FAVORITE spot in U district!! I can't believe I had this place saved on my list for so long and never was able to give it a try until now. First off, the inside is so cute and has such ample seating. You place your order at a kiosk and then go sit down wherever you want and they bring the food to you when its ready. When we came around dinner time on a Friday night it wasn't too busy but there were still a good amount of people inside. We got the spicy chicken bowl on rice and the steak bowl with yakisoba noodles. Both were so delicious!! The spicy chicken was so tender and flavorful, and the sauce coated the chicken and rice so perfectly. My favorite part about this place though is that the bowls are HUMONGEOUS and so well balanced! It comes with not only the protein + rice, but also a side salad, pickled veggies, and even half a marinated egg! It was presented so beautifully and every single component tasted SO good. It also could easily last 2 meals for such a reasonable price.COME HERE!! You will not regret it :D

Staff was super friendly and restaurant had lots of open seating. When you're ready to order you can order / pay via the huge touch screens at the counter.Food was fresh and delivered hot. We had the Rose Katsu (chicken katsu stuffed with cheese and topped with a curry sauce), Sweet Soy fried Chicken and fries (chicken had really good flavor - our kids loved it), the Tteokbokki with bacon and cheese, and Korean coffee. Everything was good but my favorite was the sweet soy fried chicken. Would definitely recommend if you're craving some Asian fusion / Korean food.
