Food is consistently above average with a higher value than most of the surrounding businesses. You get a good amount of (mostly homestyle) food for what you pay. Food quality and value are the important things and why they get 4 stars.
Negatives: Listed prices are NOT what rings up (e.g. $10 for a sandwich rings up at $10.35); take-out includes a charge of 25 cents per item; and ordering ahead through their very own website involves a built-in 15% price increase over in-store prices.
There are a lot of little "service" related things that they get wrong, but I still come here 3-4 times a month.

the byreks and breakfast options are delicious, the byreks are perfectly flaky and filling. super cute place with comfy ambiance, food is made promptly. after being here multiple times, i just wish the people at the register were more friendly; i felt like i was talking to a cold brick wall most of the time.

Food was good, but the prices on the board in the restaurant were incorrect - they billed 25-50cents per item higher at the POS (tax is separate). Nowhere was a note about a junk fee being added, so it's just cheating.

Nice little family-run cafe right by Seattle University that has breakfast and lunch sandwiches, salads and byreks made like in Albania (description on their cafe wall). We liked the baguette sandwiches. The chicken soup was also hearty. The fries were so good! The baguette is not like the traditional French baguette, but is soft and chewy in texture and much smaller. The outside crust didn't look the most appetizing to me, but it made up in flavor. Friendly service and there is quite a bit of seating inside this cafe.
Parking: Street parking outside the restaurant and in the side streets. Can be easy or difficult to find depending on the time of the day as it's right by Seattle University
Kid-friendliness: They don't have a specific kids menu.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to enter the restaurant, so I would say fairly wheelchair accessible.

This was my first time here and the food was good. I think I might’ve was given the incorrect order because I ordered the beet salad but had an apple salad, but it was pretty good.
My son ordered the pesto chicken that he really liked and the bread was amazing!

I only got one dish but I thought it was solid, good taste and reasonable price. Nothing fancy but just a straight up tasty bacon breakfast sandwich. I asked for it to come in a baguette though instead of the bread and it was perfect. It’s big enough for two to share in my opinion. I would go back to try other items or honestly just to get what I got last time.

The Mediterranean salad and added chicken was excellent and very big. I prefer romaine and they did the substitution for me. If I was local, I'd be back often!

Good, healthy food — I’ve eaten here a couple times, but came here once on a Tuesday 15 minutes before closing and was told it was too late to order any food. Not sure if this is standard but I came a long way to get here and missed ordering somewhere else because of this. They should close sooner if they don’t intend to keep the kitchen open during business hours.

Found this little gem while staying in the neighbourhood. We visited twice. Once for lunch and then for breakfast. Had the chicken pesto sandwich. The pesto mayo was delicious!!
Then for breakfast we got the scranble. Portions were large, my husband liked that!!
There was a misunderstanding as we wanted our leftover coffee and matcha to go. The server actually poured them out but graciously remade us new ones, no charge!!

I tried the beef-tomato-cheese Byrek. It was Byrek O Bama! Meat is tender, mildly spiced, and I loved the wholewheat phyllo dough. ONLY$7.

I was here to help test the kitchen hoods, the hoods were nice and clean and the laté that I got was so much better than Starbucks and all other fast food latés I have tried. Thank you!
