If you haven't already eaten here, you really should try. They have excellent food and great customer service. They came under new management in the last year, but the recipes haven't changed. Today, I had a double cheeseburger with an egg with a strawberry shake. If you need extra strawberries, just ask.

The burgers are huge and delicious. The food is ready quickly and brought to the table when the counter is not too busy… sometimes you just need shrimp and fries, some times a great burger, and sometimes you just wanna shake where no one sees you order it. 😉

The lady taking orders was so helpful and nice.Food was fresh and plenty,best fries ever! Will go here now for our best burger place. Fish and chips were good and serving size was good.Lots of milkshake flavors available,thick and creamy.

By's is a seafood and burger joint that has been around since the 50's. We we pleasantly surprised with the single patty burgs but most importantly the fries were fantastic. Hand cut with skins or sweet potato fries are preferred, both of which are on the menu. Their fries were hot, fresh and crispy. The tangy fry sauce they provide was very good and unique. I'm sure this is a popular spot for lunch with the area businesses. We would definitely return when in the area!
Superlative fast food (deliciously done fish!) with quick & friendly service. Maybe not 100% as clean & shiny as one might hope, but still excellent for the neighbourhood.

I love By's. It's in rare air in Seattle, being an understated, one off restaurant with lots of character, a genuinely friendly staff and juicy thick burgers. They don't cater to a pretentious crowd. It's not about being seen at By's. It's about getting a giant fist full of juicy burger and REAL FRIES. I cant stress enough how great it is to eat at abplace that serves REAL FRIES, cut from whole potatoes, not the BS frozen ones.
