The most legendary iconic fast casual homestead that radiates originality with its no frills but fast to thrill delicious food that warms the soul and leaves you counting the days until you come back for more. I recommend the fish and chips if you’ve never been. The hand cut fries are the best in the city. Do yourself a favor and make like a real Seattleite and make yourself a regular at By’s - where the goin get By and the fries never lie ???

My first time here, I was really hoping for a good Fish and chips, unfortunately when I got back to my office and opened the meal, the fish was over cooked and had more breading than fish. The staff was very friendly, no complaints there, but the food was disappointing.

All American great burgers and fries. Great diner style burgers on the flattop grill all crispy on the outside but not dry or overcooked.

The fries are kind of home style with the peel still on the ones from the very outside of the potato.

The hostess/cashier/waitress was simply magnificent, and beautiful.

I am entirely happy with this place.

I hope to soon try the fish & chips.
