Food was delicious and beautiful , staff were all very kind and pleasant!
Line was a little long, but quick and this felt like a good sign. You get to salivate over all their beautiful baked goods while in line. I decided next time I have guests in town, I’m going to get a little box of their baked goods for treats. We had the Cafe Hagen Brunch with sausage. It was so delightful! Looked lovely, flavors were delicious, and temperatures were appropriate. I loved the little waffle treat. It reminded me of my mom’s raspberry cream pie!
Excellent location with great coffee, staff, and general ambience. The hygge is immaculate
Food was ok, got focaccia bread with brie and fig jam for 15$ which seems a bit expensive. Coffee was amazing. The ambience and music was amazing.
Terrible service. You need to fire this lady. This thing is rock. I asked to get heated up in microwave. But the lady told me that she can’t put it in the microwave because I ate it. I told her I didn’t eat it. I just tried to cut it but it was too stiff that the knife didnt go in. But she said she can’t put the food in the microwave because I already touched it. EXCUSE ME? Am I dirty or what? Just put the food in the microwave in 30 sec. It’s not that difficult bro.
Love the ambience and decoration of this obviously Euro-Vibe cafe. Food is pretty good. A bit on the pricey side (but what isn't in this infernal city at this point.) I've been the Bellevue location which is super spacious and great for sitting and getting work done. This location is great a nice weathered day to be outside and enjoy good little cafe bites.
The chocolate chip cookie is awesome and give it a solid 8/10.
The breakfast bun is good at 7/10 as well. Both times came out a little hot so I had to let it cool down before eating. (Figured I'd write this review while doing so!)
The raspberry filled croissant was so unique, but I split it with others because it's too much for just me in the sugar department. 8/10.
The coffee - Iced Mocha and Iced White Mocha are good at a 7/10. Maybe more coffee-centric people would say more or less.
The service is awesome. Staff has been friendly and polite at both locations I visited.
Definitely visit one of their many locations!
8/10⭐
That chocolate cake was so good! Raspberry sauce in the cake layers. Really yummy.
Amazing all around! Great staff, delicious food, pastries, just great everything!
We ordered some cheese pastries and they were served cold. I asked twice to heat them up and they were reluctant, like if I was asking something they don't do. I was last weekend in Hagen Bellevue and it was outstanding, so it seems it's an issue with this location only.
Great cafe, reminds me of a club and a cafe at the same time with a bar tossed in there and a restaurant- Hygges!!

These pastries taste like the ones from Safeway but are overpriced—so disappointing. The tiramisu was awful tasting and dry (doesn’t even taste like tiramisu). The cappuccino was so average, maybe a 3/5 TOP. I asked for it to be served here, but they gave it to me in a to-go cup:)) Also, the tables were dirty.

Only been here twice to pick up some flaky pastries in the morning, and both times everything I got was a bit stale. Never had this happen at their location on 5th & Valley, perhaps because they bake on-site there?

Excellent food, pretty good coffee, not the “best ever” but it’s up there, could be personal taste or the type of oat milk who knows. Good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, service is pleasant, parking isn’t bad if you want to be lazy and drive here. Bonus is the music has been on point every time I’ve been in here. Always been upbeat and none of that depressing mellow junk that is typical of coffee shops.

I have very quickly become addicted to Cafe Hagen for 3 main reasons: the seating, food, and the coffee. The North Queen Anne location has a modern Scandinavian design with lots of wood and plants, energetic house music always playing, and a wide selection of indoor and outdoor seating to chose from. They offer LOTS of food including quiches, sandwiches, fun pastries, skillets, just to name a few. I ordered the sausage breakfast bun which included a Sunnyside up egg, havarti cheese, garlic aioli, arugula, and an unexpected sausage link rather than a patty, but it was a delicious link so I wasn't mad. What really sold me on this cafe is the coffee options, and especially since I'm an espresso guy I was blown away when I found out they offer 5-6 different roasts for espresso!! I tried the Burundi and Sumatra, both were natural processes, and both equally got me emotional. They of course offer their roasts for retail which rangers from $22-30 for 12oz which is fair pricing for the quality. Overall, service was is solid, coffee is life-changing, and can't wait to visit again.

Ridiculous prices but the coffee is good! Not justifiably $8 for cold brew good, but ok!Temp was freezing this morning so not sure if their heat was working but just kept my coat on. Coming from NY I find the pricing kinda laughable but hey, I could have just walked across the street to Starbucks ? lol Seattle, you really crack me up sometimes with your ludicrous pricing

The patrons were really nice. The cashier who served us seems annoyed by my existence and the fact that I had a toddler.
Ordered a pastry that was ok but probably would have been better heated but I wasn’t offered and didn’t ask given the attitude. So I kept my tip and left.
