I had heard great things about Cafe Hitchcock so picked up a larger order of assorted breakfast sandwiches, along some pastries and everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. Stopped in for a morning coffee and pastry. Coffee was good, pastry fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and welcoming. While waiting for our coffee we watched them baking breads in the adjacent kitchen area. Although not an extensive menu, whatever was on offer was obviously fresh and probably made that same day. Interior is very cold and industrial. Not exactly a place I’d want to linger over coffee. They seem to do a big takeaway business.
