I went to do some work on my computer and the internet was working great. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The coffee and bread were very delicious. It feels like that space that has survived everything and is still popular and in demand by everyone. The problem is that it looks very neglected. It seems like everything is dirty/dusty (it isn't at all, but it seems).I assume it's the aesthetics of the place, but I think it needs a revitalized. However, it does the job, especially if you only order takeout.

Coffee is good, not burnt like a lot of other places. The chai is extremely sweet and if you get an alternative milk it costs $7. Nice staff, location and ambiance though.

Coffee literally tastes identical to Starbucks (not a unique shop). My latte was $7, and I didn't even like it. Espresso is too dark/ashy and no discernable notes....but hey, I think that's some people's thing.

Pretty average coffee but the cafe was cozy. They didn’t have any mugs even when there were not many people in the cafe so you get your coffee in a paper cup.

Love this place. Incredibly cozy and unique drinks. Their chai is super spiced. The lattes are smooth and creamy. They have a delicious pesto breakfast sandwich, but it's from an outside supplier so sometimes they run out.

My favorite cafe in the world with happy memories from 2007. It's still kept its own vibe and atmosphere since then! Strongly recommend Allegro's special menu, mezzo mezzo (half coffee half milk, better in hot). This cafe is just the right place for mind wandering such as reading or writing!

Cool little location with an attempt at cozy vibes inside. However, the place ends up being crowded due to too many people in a small cafe. The cafe would be improved by having a limit to how many people could be in the shop at one time, maybe by cutting down on the amount of seating. A couch would work wonders to improve coziness. The coffee is subpar, their specials have great ideas! My boyfriend got a cardamom latte that tasted overwhelmingly & only of cardamom, which is admittedly a cardamom latte but not fun to drink. I got a spicy dark chocolate mocha that was very rich, but needed something else to balance it out so it didnt taste so heavy. With some work this place could be really sweet & cozy, & I'm confident that as the baristas hone their skill & they fine tune the atmosphere this place could be very nice.

All around perfect cafe. great location, great drinks, range of light food options, nifty upstairs seating, even have beer and wine at normal/reasonable prices.Edit— there are some wack reviews of this place. seriously people, they sell coffee. It’s not more complicated than that. If the barista wanted to smile at you they would. Etc.

Baristas are extremely friendly if you're a man, otherwise they'll try their hardest to pretend you're not there. Strong coffee though. There's also water in the back for thirsty baristas.
