Great coffee, quiet atmosphere (depending on the time of day) FANTASTIC PASTRIES OMG. Get the apple turnover or the cinnamon roll... chocolate croissants are a classic too. Little bit of a hidden gem and a little spendy but it's iconic.
Quite difficult to find this hidden gemstone but worth it in every way! I went here with my track team after a sunny cherry blossom run near the UW quad and loved it so much! Very affordable prices and an elaborate drinks menu. I loved their fresh orange juice! Food options are quite limited (mainly muffins and breakfast sandwiches) but I really liked their sandwiches! It was nice and warm and toasty and rich in flavor. Definitely go out of your way to check out this place!
I wanted to like this place, they have a good amount of seating, and the atmosphere is cozy, yet focused.
Unfortunately I can’t see myself returning since I was treated poorly by the cashier on my very first visit.
I visited in the middle of the day and ordered a latte for “here”. I wanted to enjoy my drink in a mug but the cashier/barista refused - as they replied: “I don’t want to do the dishes”.
