The staff at this cafe should teach classes on customer service and kindness. The most lovely staff. To top it off, the coffee and food was great. I sat in the Cafe for about an hour and listened to the staff, talk to customers, give out hugs, and genuinely care about the regular customers.
My sister is blind and when we meet up for coffee, lunch, or shopping, I am always hopeful the staff will recognize the white cane and adjust appropriately. This place again was above the mark. The staff helped guide her to the front counter. Helped with the card transaction and brought the food and beverage to her when it was ready.
One of the hardest parts of going out is hearing someone say to her it's right there and point. It's so frustrating... the barista at this cafe explained what was on the screen and made the selections for her.

i thoroughly enjoyed my iced latte (not pictured) & breakfast bagel sandwich! It was buttery, hot, & yummy to the very last bite! all the staff were working so incredibly hard and quickly. i highly recommend if you need a quick delicious meal, a nice beverage, or a cute spot to work or hang out in!

This is a gem of a local spot. The staff knew and greeted practically everyone by name so you know the regulars love this cafe. They have a few delicious twists on the standard bagel/breakfast sandwich offerings that make them stand out like the pepper+zucchini combo and garlic oil.
We were just visiting but if we lived in the area we would be coming here as often as possible.

You know that feeling when you haven’t treated yourself to eating out for some time and you really wanna get it right when you finally do?
Well, this place was that for me! I opted for the veg breakfast sandwich and went all out, having it on a cheddar & jalapeño bagel. Yummmmm!!!!
And the wonderful women the counter, Bug & Lane…you’d think they owned the place! Super friendly, knew people by name, service-first attitude and true pride in their work.
If you’re in the area, definitely stop by and enjoy the atmosphere with a hot cuppa and treat of your choice.

Unfortunately the food was so dang delicious that I forgot to take a picture. But let me say this, the moment my kids and I walked in we were greeted with friendly faces and genuineness. When we asked questions, they were happy to oblige. We got the breakfast bagel sandwich and it was so delicious that before I know it was gone. Might I add, the presentation of the sandwich when it’s brought out to you nicely cut in half ready to eat and not overwhelming to eat all at once. On top of this, you will find a safe and comfortable space to enjoy your meal and/or beverage as many of the places here in Capitol Hill it is Pride friendly.
Kid-friendliness: They offered a kid temp cocoa for my 6 year old daughter and she even enjoyed the breakfast bagel sandwich with me which she normally doesn’t touch veggies or eggs at all.
