Poor Cafe Kopi had to go out of business, apparently. I'm really saddened by this, but I admit that I didn't go often because of the wait and the fact that they closed too early in the day for me to be a laptop warrior there. I feel they were too ambitious if anything - such a small place, yet a very impressive menu. It must have been hard to keep up. I still hope it's replaced by something similar, even if it's hard to maintain. Cafes with REAL food, not just bread-based, are hard to come by. You'll be missed, Kopi.

I liked Kopi breakfasts and am sad to see the business closed but not surprised. The owner had perpetual staffing issues, and once I saw her working by herself during the busy breakfast rush while her employee came in late. She was usually working with only one other employee and frequently doing everything on her own. It's tough to find good staff these days and rents are skyrocketing so no wonder small businesses are struggling.

The breads and scones at Cafe Kopi are soooo good! I love the London Fog bread when she has it and all the scones are amazing. They're not too sweet, perfectly moist and always taste fresh. I'm never disappointed. The coffee is also fruity and delicious!

Sooo it was sunday morning (830AM) and I was the only other table other than these 3 ladies. The only person is an old lady and she juggles everything; cooking, making coffee, being the cashier, serving it. I ordered Soul of Seoul and a House Kopi. The House Kopi took around 10 mins. She told me the food wont be ready for another 15 mins since she still cook the rice. It took the food AN HOUR to come out (930) and I have to asked for it to be wrapped for to go. The taste is ok.

The egg pesto and sausage bagel sandwich is my favorite. And the coffee is delicious.

The BEST coffee! Good homemade (from scratch food. Server breakfast lunch and in-between. Many home made bakery items. Delish!! Staff always friendly and helpful...

Kopi is just a block away from my office, so you'd think I'd be here for coffee quite often. However, I've had bad luck with the coffee here. About half of the time, it tastes burnt. No bueno. Could just be my experience, but after a few times, I've stopped coming here for coffee. What I do like about Kopi is their food. The breakfast sandwiches (my favorite is the pesto egg which looks pretty much like green eggs and ham) are great. Just call in your order cause they take a bit to make food here. I also love their Chicken Adobo bowls, which I will sometimes pick up for a solid lunch. Price isn't bad and it comes with plenty to eat.

The food is great and staff are friendly. I would have given a five but sometimes service can be very slow. It's hot or miss. They have great vegetarian options as well!

The coffee and food is always so good, and the staff are the friendliest. They offer a ton of food and drink options, too. Not to mention this place is super cozy.

Best iced coffee I've ever had. Great pastries, too. Small intimate dining area that is surprisingly quiet and well-insulated from the roaring Lake City Way intersection outside. Huge picture windows provide nice lighting. Stroller-friendly, kid friendly. Good free wifi. Good size tables. Comfortable space and ambience. And not over-priced.

One of my favorite local stops. Their veggie scramble is amazing! Baked goods are great. My only wish is that they served a better local or Northwest coffee such as Lighthouse, Stumptown or even Caffe Vita.

Awesome little "hole in the wall" cafe with great food. Was lured by the 'we serve good food' sign and did not disappoint! Buddha bowl is epic

They make all of their food and desserts/pastries in-house and it's all amazing. They add new items often as well. They are all also very kind so the customer service is excellent.

The eggs are good but their Kopi breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The hash browns were a little over cooked and tasted like the griddle hadn't been cleaned in a couple days. At $3 extra for a single sausage pattie, it seems a bit expensive. The coffee was alright but nothing to write home about. A $37 breakfast for two with no leftovers seems a bit much even in Seattle. The condiments bottle had dried ketchup and the sugar kept getting stuck as it poured.

What an outstanding breakfast this place offers. The staff is friendly and helpful- the coffee is also quite good. It's not fancy, but it's authentic and the baked goods are awesome.
