I just went to Lago’s page to get to their website and was shocked at 4.5 rating! Given other reviews and all the hype, I had really high expectations for this dinner out at Cafe Lago. The ambience definitely came through and I enjoyed being in the space. The cocktails are fantastic, and very well crafted. It was the service and the food that did not meet expectations. I thought it was just good though, just not fantastic. Disappointing...Limited choices. More variety needed. Almost everything had red sauce and it looks like it is turning vegetarian. We have been to this restaurant many times and liked it in the past. The menu needs more variety.
