i feel called to make this post based on the experience i had at cafe lulu this morning. crawling out of bed on this sunny seattle morning to get my iced vanilla latte with cinnamon was my church. i found god in this latte today. i feel as though i found my way back home after being in exile for far, far too long. i didn't even mind standing in line as the other patrons and i waited to take what felt like communion. i implore anyone to give it a whirl and will be surprised if you don't leave changed, as i have today.

Really cool tables/plant holders along the wall. A lot of cute and unique art displayed around the shop. The barista recognized us the second time we went back (given it was the next day, but still!) and anticipated what we'd order, so sweet and kind! Lovely space with lovely people and delicious espresso! Best mocha I've had in a long time. And I'm automatically into any cafe that carries oat milk AND vegan cream cheese.

This spot is a cozy neighborhood cafe with friendly service and delicious hot chocolate along with a nice variety of yummy syrups to add topped off with a sweet heart in the foam The pastries looked delightful although I didn't try any out this time

The coffee shops on Green Lake way itself tend to be too crowded. This one is quite close, yet just far enough away to be hidden from the crowds. The coffee is great, she they usually have interesting options like mushroom latte

Small, friendly coffeehouse with a solid latte and plenty of portable breakfast options. Seemed to be training a new barista, so service was a little clunky. They’re sure to get it smoothed out soon. Bright spot: The rosemary ham scone is delicious!

A local favorite, and you will see why. Good food, good coffee, and the personal welcome that makes this neighborhood business a refuge and a treasure!
Best coffee, service and food. Cute and clean plus they make the pastries themselves!

While I was in Seattle I wanted to find really good local coffee shops every morning and this place is definitely a gem! Everything here is so simple but SO DELICIOUS. I love the vibe there and everything I ordered was absolutely tasty!

A cute little neighborhood spot tucked away just around the corner from Green Lake. I got an iced vanilla latte which was solid. I do wish they had a bit more of an extensive food/pastry selection, but that's just me! I'm a lil picky with my food at coffee shops :) it's a small cute store to read at, or to meet someone and catch up over a coffee.

Great place for pastries and drinks. I really liked my matcha drink and the banana bread was amazing! Small cute shop to work and eat. I’d come back!
