Great staff, i usually stop with my dogs on the way to discovery, i get a coffee, the dogs get a treat ♥️
Super nice baristas great coffee
This is our go-to coffee shop, though we wish they opened a bit earlier (maybe 6am).
They are always super friendly - the service is great. Their food is tasty; we particularly like the scones and muffins but have also had their breakfast burritos and approve.
We also buy their bulk coffee beans to use at home and they're out favorite in Seattle.
The only thing is, we like blended beverages and they are very hot or miss. Most often, the texture/consistency is totally off. I would recommend not getting anything blended and sticking to hot drinks or iced without blending.
Otherwise, we loved it here for the people and the atmosphere.
Coffee is always delicious and strong. Roasted and brewed to perfection! Staff is friendly and the service/wait time is generally pretty quick. I'm always greeted with a smile and often casual conversation. This place adds to my sense of community. Definitely recommend this spot for those needing a good coffee or pastry.
Good coffee shop. I think it’s a little understaffed at peak times and it feels like it needs a little love from the owners as it has aged. Good bones. Staff are friendly.
Not a hype 3rd wave coffee shop that does fancy latte art kinda deal. More like 2000s neighborhood coffee shop Gilmore girls vibe.
Probably fine for milk drinks but WAY off on the espresso.
Service: The woman at the counter was very warm and friendly.
Atmosphere: It was cool to get to watch them roast coffee but I noticed a lot of fruit flies in the 5 minutes I was there, so that took away from it.
Coffee: I ordered a dopio espresso and got a to-go cup halfway filled to the brim. I was curious how far off they were on their ratio so I went home before taking a sip to weigh it. A double shot of espresso should have been at most 36g, what they gave me was 108g. Basically two lungos in a cup. Or 2/3 of an americano but with twice the dose of espresso in it? Either way, it was nowhere close to what I ordered and certainly not what I would want.
great coffee, strong espresso, cool vibe, and really nice employees!
The Chai was good, probably one of the better I've had in the Seattle area. The pastry was really dry and kind of underwhelming. My biggest issue was the nats I saw landing on the food in the pastry window, there ought to be a way to protect to food from them, no? Either way, prices were a little much but it's Seattle pricing lol.

Stumbled into this adorable cafe, after a long walk, visiting Seattle for the first time from NJ. Was welcomed by Shannon- who could not have been any lovelier! I enjoyed a beverage, conversation and then was on my way, grateful for the incredible hospitality!

Stopped in for a latte. Coffee was strong and good. Nice building and dining room with a nice window wall for viewing the roasting process. The building had some nice seating areas and a beautiful piano. The exterior needs some clearning and paint and general maintenance, but still very cool. Always great seeing the owner, Phil volunteering at St Demetrios Greek Festival every year, serving up his great coffee all weekend. Was a pleasure to finally see his roasting facility and tasting room. I live about 25 miles from there, so not nearby that often but was an easy and very enjoyable outing.
Really enjoyed my visit there and to Seattle Fisherman's Terminal practically next door. Good walk around there looking at the Fisherman's Memorial and all the interesting boats. Nice lunch at Fisherman's Terminal's Chinook restaurant, followed by a short drive past another favorite... Mike's Chili and to The Ballard Locks and old downtown Ballard. It's all close by and a reminder of all that's good in this area.
