We randomly chose this restaurant for a casual-nice bite option but more elevated and didn't break the bank. Our server Lucas was fantastic and did an amazing job helping us make a great selection of pizzas to share for our party of 3. He was very attentive and took extra time and care, assuring every attention to detail. Our food was clearly made with love and had a rustic, approachable, authentic flavors that were unique and mouthwatering. They even had ICE cold N/A Peroni which was the icing on the cake!!! Andafe for a perfect afternoon pairing. The overall experience was absolutely lovely and exceeded expectations!!! Very fun time and a UNIQUE experience... (not your average pizza place.) If I could change anything, I would soak the lady fingers in expresso more in the tiramisu. Otherwise everything was spot on.

Got two pies (one cheese and one meat), they both were kind of tasteless. Crust was ok.

After I saw they use imported flour from Italy, I had to give it a try. YUM!

Napoli capitale pizza is renowned for its pesto sauce pizza. The thin bread is so light that it doesn’t make you feel heavy after eating.
The desserts are equally delicious. The owner was so kind as to offer us a free dessert when we ran out of the pistachio tiramisu we had ordered earlier.
The food quality is also very high, and the live atmosphere adds to the overall experience.

Delicious food and wonderful service in a comfortable atmosphere. My companion and I shared their house made foccacia, a beet salad, and the Madrid pizza - and every bite was delicious. Our server was kind and patient, helping us decide on the accompaniments to the foccacia, and talking to us about his favorite dessert (we were too full, but hearing him talk about the types of cheesecake they make, we regretted not pacing ourselves better). Everything except the gelato is made in house - and clearly with a love of the food. We loved every bite, and look forward to trying more items on the menu!

Stopped here for some pizza while visiting town. Fantastic service from Rodrigo and the staff! Had the Parma, the Sao Paolo and tried the Burrata appetizer and their delicious meats! Everyone was so friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic! Highly recommend!

if you eat meat you will like this place, 5 stars, just go
if you are vegetarian be ready to be disappointed by the genuinely least creative and mid pizzas ever
unlike other foods, pizza is like a creative artform because you can genuinely put anything on it in certain combos and make it work
despite that they have a fungi pizza, a really mid zucchini one, and then 4 permutations of basically a marg, additionally they charge 4-5 extra bucks to add an extra topping despite the pizza being so mid lmao
having good fundamentals can only carry u so far but toppings are key in a pizza and whoever made their menu probably is the Italian version of a only fries and chicken nuggies person, no offense but u gotta lock in because they are pizza places that have just as good fundamental pizza but better toppings and actual dishes

I live close enough to Capitale that ordering pizza here feels less like delivery and more like a small personal decision about what kind of neighborhood I want to exist in.
Capitol Hill has a lot of pizza — late-night pizza, drunk pizza, “technically pizza” — but this is the kind where someone clearly cared about fermentation time. The crust lands in that Neapolitan sweet spot: leopard-spotted, elastic, folds without cracking, and tastes like bread instead of a plate.
The menu reads like geography — cities instead of toppings — which sounds gimmicky until the combinations actually make sense. You get balance: acid, fat, char, and restraint. Nothing is buried under cheese just to prove generosity.
I came in on a day that had been quietly terrible — the administrative kind of bad where plans fail, conversations sour, and you realize trust is more temporary than advertised. Not cinematic tragedy, just erosion. I mostly wanted calories and anonymity.
Instead I got a pizza that required attention.
You can’t absent-mindedly eat something built this lightly. The center steams, the edge crackles, and suddenly you’re participating in dinner again instead of waiting for the evening to end. The room is small enough that people talk at normal volume. Nobody rushes you out. Time slows to human speed.
Nothing in life was fixed.
But the night stopped deteriorating.
That’s about the highest praise food gets.
Capitale isn’t the pizza you end up at — it’s the pizza you meant to go get.
5 stars.
